Ayurveda

Ayurveda, Sanskrit for 'Knowledge or Wisdom of Life,' is a form of traditional medicine native to India and practiced as an alternative medicine throughout the world. The earliest literature on Ayurveda appeared during India's Vedic period and dates back over 5000 years. Ayurveda is grounded metaphysics of the five great elements, Aakash-Space, Vayu-Air, Agni-Fire, Aap-Water and Prithvi-Earth; all compose the universe, including the human body.

Shamanism

Shamanism is a range of traditional indigenous beliefs from around the world and involves healing practices through communication with the spirit world. Shamans are spiritual visionaries of tribes and clans. Through their great wisdom and visions they are able to channel the power of nature's elements. Shamans use their sight to guide their people through troubled times.
